چکیده
There is growing evidence that supports the correlation between incidence of ankle dysfunction and low back pain (LPB). Although spine seem like distant regions body, they are functionally connected by lower extremity kinematic chain. The aim current study was to investigate association functional instability (FAI), limited dorsiflexion (DF) range motion (ROM) One hundred two subjects with chronic sprain participated in this study. mean ± SD age, weight, height, BMI group were 43.5 12.96 years, 85.27 14.22 kg, 172.9 8.45 cm, 28.59 4.72 kg/m². LPB measured Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), FAI anterior drawer test DF ROM lunge test. All statistical analyses performed using Statistical Package for Social Studies (SPSS) version 25 Windows. no statistically significant BMI, pain, sex (p > 0.05). a (odd ratio 5.68, p = 0.02) 1.16, 0.01). supported previous studies recommending as factor LPB. authors suggest conducting similar larger number participants include measures scales or questionnaires increase validity generalizability results.

Associations between ankle dorsiflexion range of motion and foot and ankle strength in young adults
[Purpose] This study assessed the relationships between the ankle dorsiflexion range of motion and foot and ankle strength. [Subjects and Methods] Twenty-nine healthy (young adults) volunteers participated in this study. Each participant completed tests for ankle dorsiflexion range of motion, hallux flexor strength, and ankle plantar and dorsiflexor strength. [Results] The results showed (1) a ...

Background and Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the effect of a period of balance and combination exercises (neuromuscular and stabilizing) on pain, functional characteristics and motor range of athlete women with chronic ankle instability. Materials and Methods: In this study, 30 female athletes with functional ankle instability were selected and randomly assigned into three...
متن کاملAnkle-dorsiflexion range of motion and landing biomechanics.
CONTEXT A smaller amount of ankle-dorsiflexion displacement during landing is associated with less knee-flexion displacement and greater ground reaction forces, and greater ground reaction forces are associated with greater knee-valgus displacement. Additionally, restricted dorsiflexion range of motion (ROM) is associated with greater knee-valgus displacement during landing and squatting tasks....
متن کاملChanges in active ankle dorsiflexion range of motion after acute inversion ankle sprain.
CONTEXT Posterior calf stretching is believed to improve active ankle dorsiflexion range of motion (AADFROM) after acute ankle-inversion sprain. OBJECTIVE To describe AADFROM at baseline (postinjury) and at 2-wk time periods for 6 wk after acute inversion sprain. DESIGN Randomized trial. SETTING Sports clinic. PARTICIPANTS 11 men and 11 women (age range 11-54 y) with acute inversion spr...
متن کاملThe Relationship between Range of the ankle motion, Q angle and back stroke kicking on male Swimmers
The purpose of this research is to survey the relationship between range of the ankle motion and Q angle and back stroke kicking on male swimmers. 34 on available boy students swimmers were selected with mean and SD of age 23.68±2.28 years, weight 71.88±9.35 kg and height 176.11±5.52 cm in this study. First, Right and Left Leg Q angles (to supine position), Range of Dorsal flexion and plan...
